Town of Lake Placid is contracting a company to maintenance our fire hydrants. They are working North to South. You may see discolored water, this is normal, as these are the natural occurring minerals from the water that have settled while in the water pipe over time.  Please flush toilets till water runs clear.
This process will be occurring over the coming weeks.

The Town of Lake Placid is working on a new Downtown Master Plan — and we want your Ideas.  Your voice matters!
