Town Meetings

Meetings are held in the Town Council Chambers at  the Lake Placid Government Center

Occasionally, the Town of Lake Placid may require meetings that are not part of the regular schedule for the Town Council, the Lake Placid Local Planning Agency/Board of Adjustments, Lake Placid Community Redevelopment Agency, or the Lake Placid Regional Utilities Advisory Commission. These meetings are known as Special Meetings, and the town provides notification of such meetings through this webpage dedicated to Special Meeting Notices, posted at the Government Center and the public calendar on this website.

IMPORTANT: There WILL BE a BOA meeting but the Local Planning Agency (LPA) WILL NOT be holding a meeting due to internal advertising error. The Public Hearings for 1-The Grand Isles Development, 2- Ordinance 2024-14, LPTC.24.005, Annual Updates to the Capital Improvement Schedule (CIS) Public Hearing and 3-Resolution No. 2024-23, LPTC.24.005.CFS, Annual Updates to the Capital Financial Strategy hearings WILL BE RESCHEDULED to October 7, 2024.
