Town Meetings

Meetings are held in the Town Council Chambers at  the Lake Placid Government Center

Town Meetings dates may be changed, Special Meetings may be called by the Mayor or meetings may be canceled from time to time; check the town meeting schedule below and public notices to stay informed.

Requests from the public to include an item on the agenda of a scheduled meeting must be submitted to the Town Clerk no later than 2:00 PM on the Tuesday prior to the meeting, or alternatively, a request to speak on the agenda may be made by the same deadline.

The Lake Placid Town Council meets every second Monday at 5: 30 PM of each month.

​

 The Lake Placid Local Planning Agency and Board of Adjustments

meets every first Monday at 5:30 PM of each month.

​

The Lake Placid Regional Utilities Advisory Commission meets

every other month, Tuesday at 1:30 PM of each month.

​

The Town makes every effort to keep its citizens informed.

​

Meeting Agendas and Meeting Packets are available on the website by the Friday prior to all

the Regular Meetings of the Town.
